Matthew Paul Pasqua is a native New Yorker who currently resides in NYC.  He is a nationally accredited and dedicated provider of fitness instruction and athletic coaching who is cited in The New York Times, Self.com and Well+GoodNYC.com.  He is the Founder and President of Phys’io-Log’ik Pow:r Systems, LLC - a company that provides beginner through advanced coaching services unique to his signature training method.  

His signature training method artfully blends scientifically-proven training techniques applied with a proper variation in volume, intensity and specificity to maximize performance within each individual’s unique potential while avoiding injury and remaining time-effective.   

While currently holding a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology from Columbia University he has also received training from The National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA Cycling, The Nautilus Institute, The Equinox Fitness Training Institute, The American College of Sports Medicine and The National Academy of Sports Medicine.   Furthermore, as a an athlete involved in competitive team and individual sports, a 1st Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and an inducted member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society (the nation's oldest scholarship fraternity) he adheres to a strict code, moral conduct and training style developed with respect, discipline, knowledge and passion.  Finally, as a graduate of NYU in Economics magna cum laude and a former employee in the financial industry, he has a unique understanding of limited choice and the tendencies in a professional career towards inactivity and the scarcity of personal time.   

The result of his lifelong dedication as a conditioned and competitive athlete along with his incomparable level of understanding and scholarship has been the development of his signature training method.  Using this method, he has now dedicated not only his life but also his profession to the pursuit of unbounded fitness and athleticism both personally and to the instruction of others.
